The Grand Erie District School Board
has approved a motion to allow the company Ameresco to start a feasibility study
on the project, at no cost or obligation to the board. If the study comes back
and the board approves it, they may lease space on top of their buildings for
solar panels, which could generate between $200,000 and $300,000 in revenue
for the board per year.
